Introduction

WoG - Heroes 3 Wake of Gods - Download Center

Can I upload live recordings that were broadcast on XM Radio or Sirius Satellite Radio

At this point in time, Archive.org cannot host recordings that were broadcast over either of these services. Subscribers have informed us that they were required to sign a "Terms of Use" document that forbids the recording/hosting/rebroadcasting of any material received from these services. Until we hear otherwise, these recordings cannot be hosted here.

A recording I uploaded and marked 'no lossy formats' had them created (mp3, ogg, m3u, etc...) . How can I remove them

If you come across this situation and you are the uploader, click [edit], select the derivation option you prefer, and then 'Update'. You should see the message "Format Options Updated Successfully". Within 10 minutes the system will create a "_rules.conf" file in the recording's folder. Then, the next time the system performs an automatic sweep looking for changes, it will notice the new rules file and remove the lossy files automatically. The sweep occurs approximately twice a day, so you should see the files removed within 12-24 hours.

If you are not the uploader, send us an email (etree at archive dot org) and an admin will remove them.

How do I search for an artist by date of the concerts

As an example I'll search for Del McCoury: start at https://archive.org/details/etree type "Del McCoury in the "Search this Collection" text field on the right side and hit return. I prefer list view so I click the icon (the four stacked horizontal lines) all the way on the right side of the "SORT BY" bar. And, I check the "SHOW DETAILS" box to show more information. Now I've got results for Del McCoury in the Live Music Archive at https://archive.org/details/etree such attempts may significantly complicate or delay the curators' setup process.

You can give as much or as little scope for archiving as you like. Some bands place limits on what can be hosted, and we can accommodate those. Archive Curators, volunteer fans who have proven to be in line with the spirit of this archive, will attempt to screen contributions for OK'ed material only.

At the same time you give the go-ahead, feel free to pass along any notes or policy links on your general taping/trading stance as well. You don't need to have a formal written or posted policy before inclusion, but we'd like to know how you feel about the topic.

Besides fans sending their copies of your shows, you can also prepare and upload your own live recordings to the Archive, if you like. In fact, if you'd like to limit your material to selected contributions from you only, please just let us know.

If you have any questions about the project, please ask us anytime at etree at archive dot org.

I have a different source for a show that is already in the archive, should I upload it anyway

Yes! In keeping with the nature of this Archive, it is appropriate for multiple sources of the same show to be available for download. When you upload the new source, be sure to name the source in the show's top level folder to avoid confusion. Some bands do place limits on the types of sources allowed (such as soundboard recordings), so please check the policy for any given band.

The progress of my upload says 'File metadata XML invalid. Waiting for user to correct.' How can I fix this

This is typically caused by illegal symbols being used somewhere in the information that was put into one of the forms submitted with the show (either the import form or "File Options"). Double check that the only characters used are those visible on a standard English-language 104 key keyboard. More information and a few examples are here. If you have trouble finding the cause, please post to the forum for help. An admin will have to resubmit the recording for another try, so please send an email including a link to the recording to etree AT archive DOT org if you believe you have cleared the issue.

More information on what XML files are and how they are created can be read here.

Can bands place restrictions on material to be archived

Yes. Each band can tailor the extent of their permission to the Archive. We quote the band's wishes in the Rights section of the band's Collection page. Here are some examples of special restrictions bands have requested. We point out different cases in a band's policy information using a shorthand "Limited Flag" tag. We have a contribution system set up to accommodate individual bands' requirements. During the upload process, contributors are urged to double check the band's policy notes at different stages. Archive Curators, volunteer fans who have proven to be in line with the spirit of this archive, will attempt to screen contributions for approved material only. In addition, access to a particular item can be removed if it becomes restricted later (for example, a date newly chosen for commercial release must be removed under some band's policies).

Bands, please contact us at etree at archive dot org anytime to let us know how we can work with you to make things happen.

Do you provide an RSS feed of new updates to the LMA

Indeed! The URL of the feed is http://www.archive.org/services/collection-rss.phpmediatype=etree with so many helpful, knowledgeable folks out there, you can often get a speedy answer to your question.

How can I add a logo to my collection page

Yes. Follow this clickpath: drag and image over the existing one next tot he band name > click the submit button > wiat for the tasks to complete > refresh the page.

These image formats will work: jpg, png or gif

The image you upload should be named identifier (where identifier is your item's identifier name) followed by the format. So, identifier.jpg, identifier.png or identifier.gif will work.

How do I upload a show to the LMA

Uploading instructions for the etree collections can be found at https://archive.org/download/lmaupload/lmaupload.html

Before uploading any show<, href="http://archive.org/browse.phpmediatype=collection we will optionally create the extra "lossy derivative" copies (.mp3, .ogg) onsite.

How are view (download) counts calculated

Views (formerly known as downloads) are calculated per item page, per IP address, per day. If you stream a show today, that's one download. If you view the txt file tomorrow, that's another download. If you download every file from a show's page the next day, that counts as one more download. If you download the same file a thousand times the day after that, that still only counts as one more download.

What is the Live Music Archive all about

This audio archive is an online public library of live recordings available for royalty-free, no-cost public downloads. We only host material by trade-friendly artists: those who like the idea of noncommercial distribution of some or all of their live material. Live recordings are a part of our culture and might be lost in 100 years if they're not archived. We think music matters and want to preserve it for future generations.

The LMA draws strength from the members of etree.org and other online communities of music fans devoted to providing public access to high-quality digital recordings of tradable performances. Typically, recordings are made by the fans. Recordings are preserved in "Lossless" archival compression formats such as Shorten or FLAC (MP3 is not Lossless) for highest quality preservation.

Patrons may download from the LMA with the understanding that the artists still hold their copyrights. All material is strictly noncommercial, both for access here and for any further distribution.

What are the options for downloading a full recording

Lossless: A ZIP file containing Shorten files or Flac files. Unlike formats like MP3, lossless formats are true to the original - there is no degradation in quality.

Hi-Fi: A ZIP file containing MP3 files encoded with a variable bit rate to deliver high quality at roughly 160kilobits per second.

Lo-Fi: A ZIP file containing MP3 files encoded at a constant bit rate of 64 kilobits per second. These files are ideal for users with slower Internet connections.

Other Web Options: All files are displayed as individual links on any item's details page. Web-based download managers can be set up to download all the files you want from the page, as a group. For Firefox, the extension DownThemAll is a popular option.

BitTorrent: Some Items that are downloadable via HTTP are also downloadable via a BitTorrent client; these items show a 'Torrent' link next to the 'HTTP' download link. (To trigger creation of a BitTorrent file for an item in the LMA that does not yet have one, write a review for it, e.g. "Make me a Torrent!"). Note: only items downloadable via HTTP can be downloaded via BitTorrent.

How can I help get bands into the Live Music Archive

If you know of a trade-friendly live-performing band that is a good candidate for the Archive, you can initiate contact. Some tips and letter templates can be found here. When you write, make it clear you are asking about the Live Music Archive at archive.org. Don't just ask about their general taping/trading stance. We want bands to know what's up.

Next, follow up with a message to etree at archive dot org. Mention when you tried to contact the band and what contact point you used. These are important in order to update our contact records. Admins will update the contact status in an announcement forum about Pending Bands based on the message you send us.

If you receive a reply from the band, positive or negative, send a complete copy of the email, complete with its sender's address/brief header info, to etree at archive dot org. It's a good idea to send a copy of what you asked them as well (if not quoted in the reply), since it will give context to the answer. We need to have full info in hand in order to set up the band appropriately in the Archive, and we may need to contact them for follow up questions.

If you are hesitant to make contact yourself, you can mention the band to Archive admins (send email to etree at archive dot org) and they can try a contact as time permits. To help out, supply any contact or policy info you may already know about the band.

How do I make corrections to shows

Sometimes people make typos or other mistakes on uploads, or leave gaps in info that can be filled in later. You can help supply good information for archived items. Here is the current best method to submit corrections: If you uploaded the show, you can make the changes to the details page yourself. Make sure you are logged in as the user who uploaded the show and go to the details page of the show you are trying edit. Click on the "edit" link next to the band name at the top of the details page and you will be able to edit the show details including venue, location, source, set list, etc. Be aware that editing these fields will only change the show details, not the files themselves.

If you uploaded the item and would like to replace or add to files within your item, under the current system this can be done without reuploading the entire fileset. More description may follow; meanwhile there is a walkthrough as a Word document with screenshots.

If you did not upload the show, please email the admins (etree at archive dot org), and state precisely what the problem with that particular show is. If the problem is a missing set list, please see this FAQ). If there are one or more missing or broken files that you can provide, please re-upload and re-import the entire show under a new directory name, and then email us a link to the old, broken show, asking for that show to be removed Advanced Browser 9.0

Internet Explorer - Wikipedia

This internet speed test can be used to help you determine your true bandwidth on any connection, such as Broadband, Cable, Satellite and DSL Modems. Note: For best results, please make sure you are running the latest version of java.

We created our Internet Speed Test to be the most accurate broadband Speed Test on the internet! In fact, many sites charge for speed tests similar to this one!

Because this speed test is so popular we have to limit the test to 15 users at a time. Although we have a large amount of bandwidth, this speedtest may take up to 30 seconds to complete, so please be patient.

Think the test on this page was cool, then check out our new Broadband Speed Test! Own a website You can put place the test on your site free of charge, complete with logging options and much more! Click on the graphic to your left to give it a spin and learn more!

Before you start the Bandwidth Test

This test accurately measures bandwidth and serves as a DSL speed test and Cable Modem Speed test to help visitors troubleshoot and locate bandwidth issues.

Before you start the Speed Test, please keep in mind that it uses TCP port 8500 and 8600 to 8609 to test packets. What does this mean If you see a ‘connect time out’ message, then you need to tell your firewall to allow 140.82.42.216 (that’s our server) to communicate with your computer using TCP port 8500.

Here is an example of the IP Security Policy on a XP machine:
Protocol = TCP, Source Port =8500, Destination Port = ANY, Source Address = 140.82.42.216, Source Mask = 255.255.255.255, Destination Address = My IP Address, Destination Mask = 255.255.255.255

Speed Test – No Graphic

If you still can not run the bandwidth test, download the latest version of Java. If this does not work, please let me know and I’ll work with you on this.

You can also try our very popular Broadband Speed Test and / or our Speed Test which also supports any language in the world!

It would be greatly appreciated if you would notify us of any problems with this speed test – Thank you!

Bandwidth Testing can be complicated!

There is a lot more to an internet speed test than meets the eye! When you measure bandwidth, be it DSL speed Test, Cable Modem Speed Test or any other, you have to consider the devices the packets of data travel through. A speed test also has to consider the technology used to deliver those packets of data and account for variations in speed.

To give you the most accurate results, our internet speed test was based on a research paper by Liang Cheng2 and Ivan Marsic from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. The paper explains in detail how to accurately measure Digital Subscriber Line Networks and is used by our speed test.

In researching Broadband Speed Tests, we also found some very ‘unfriendly’ user interfaces that left us confused as to the results. We have put great effort into providing an accurate, easy to understand graphical interface that clearly displays the results of the internet speed test.

For those of you interested in greater detail, keep reading; otherwise, just click the speed test start button. This speed test uses Java and will not work with java disabled.

Internet Speed Test Definitions

The following internet speed test terms are useful for understanding the Speed Test measurement report:

QOS

Represents the level of consistent download capacity provided by your Broadband or DSL provider. The higher QOS percentage, the higher the overall quality of the internet connection. High quality plus internet speed provides better connections for VoIP (voice over IP), Citrix and other high traffic applications.

This figure should come in around 80 or higher yet. This does not mean that you won’t find success at lower speeds, but on average, the speed test should report >= 80.

RTT

The Round Trip Time (RTT) reports the total time in milliseconds (ms) to send a small data packet in our internet speed test and obtain a reply back. The faster (smaller) the RTT, the better broadband speed you’ll have.

For Voice over IP, round trip delays can occur when results exceed 250 mSec or 150 mSec one way which is also considered the maximum desired one-way latency to achieve high-quality voice.

Max Pause

Max Pause is the longest pause recorded during the Broadband Speed Test data download. This should be a very small number. If not, it could indicate Internet speed congestion or a bad broadband connection.

Anything less that 100 would be ideal for this broadband speed test.

Speed Test – How It Works

Existing Internet Speed Tests – bandwidth testing techniques are not suitable because link asymmetry and ATM traffic shaping in xDSL deployments impact the accuracy of their speed test measurements.

Speed Test – Techniques

A number of techniques exist for Speed Test and bandwidth measurement. Most of them can be categorized into two groups. One group is a variant of pathchar based on the one-packet model. The disadvantage of this group is heavy overhead in bandwidth consumption. The other is a variant of packet-pair based on the packet-pair model. This group imposes lower overhead compared to the first group.

In theory, one- or two-packet techniques and the tailgating technique in internet speed tests and can get good estimation of xDSL link bandwidth. However, the existing tools do not regulate the probe packets so that ATM traffic shaper will regulate the probe packets for them by packet delay or packet drop.

One possible solution is that to explicitly regulate the probe traffic, but then it is difficult to specify the source rate for speed tests. That is why a stepwise scheme is proposed: in the first step of the bandwidth test, a rough estimate of the bandwidth is obtained and the subsequent probe traffic is regulated according to the estimation. Multi-packet technique is used to avoid explicit packet filtering to help accurately measure internet speed.

Broadband Tests – Traffic Shaping

Our broadband speed test take into account that ATM traffic shaping has a goal of regulating the traffic flow as per the parameters describing the negotiated QoS to achieve better network efficiency. The basic idea of ATM traffic shaping is buffering the packets/cells and controlling, mostly delaying, their entry into the network, thereby ensuring a more constant flow of traffic in the network.

DSL Speed Test – Application to Asymmetric DSL Networks

The DSL Speed Test understands that the asymmetric nature of ADSL networks makes it necessary to have different measurements methodologies for upstream and downstream cases. The speed tests are based upon the assumption that the upstream bandwidth is lower than the downstream bandwidth.

DSL Speed Test – Upstream methodology

A fixed number of UDP packets of uniform size are sent from the customer’s computer (client) at a rate slightly higher than the nominal bottleneck bandwidth of the ADSL network during our DSL speed test. Probing traffic with the slightly higher rate (e.g., less than 10%) is necessary to saturate the pipe for testing. A server process on the Bandwidth Measurement Server, echoes back the packets as they arrive at the server end. The time difference, T, is measured between the arrival of the first packet and the last packet at the client end. During the broadband speed test, the upstream bottleneck link bandwidth, b1, is computed as: b1 = (NxPx8)/T [bps]

Bandwidth Test – Downstream methodology

A traffic generator at the Bandwidth Speed Test Measurement Server generates a downstream traffic. A receiving process at the client measures the arrival time of the packets. Because of the nature of ADSL, such that the upstream bandwidth is smaller than the downstream bandwidth, the client does not echo the probe packets back. Instead, the client computes the downstream bandwidth to accurately check internet speed.

Bandwidth Speed Test – Stepwise Scheme

The stepwise scheme consists of at least two steps during the speed test. It can be used for both downstream and upstream bandwidth measurements described in the previous section. The generated traffic should be smooth rather than bursty to avoid excessive ATM traffic shaping. The stepwise bandwidth measurement scheme runs several times and reports the maximum measured value as the link bandwidth.

During the first bandwidth measurement step, a small number of packets, e.g., 10, are sent sequentially back-to-back from the client to the server. This small number of packets will likely not be affected by ATM traffic shaping, as most ATM networks are capable of handling such small bursts. The computed result is used in the second step of the speed test as the trial bandwidth of the xDSL link.

The subsequent step(s) in our internet speed test assumes that the accurate xDSL bandwidth is close to the trial result obtained from the first step. A larger number of packets than that in the first step are used in the measurement to ensure that the results are convergent and in the end consistent. Had it not been for the first step that approximately determined the bandwidth, the sustained higher-than-provisioned traffic would result in a considerable loss or queuing delay caused by ATM traffic shaping, and this would end up providing inaccurate internet speed test results.

Is it Megabits or MegaBytes

Q) Is Mbps in the speed test graphic referring to “mega bits per second” or “mega bytes per second”

A) It’s mega bits per second. A byte is a measurement of size while bps is a measure of speed such as sending something across the internet. An uppercase B always stands for “bytes” while a lowercase “b” always stands for “bits per second”.

  • Kbps is spoken as Kilobits, equals 1,000 bits per second and is also abbreviated Kb or Kbits
  • Mbps is spoken as Megabits, equals 1 million (1,000,000) bits per second and is also abbreviated Mb or Mbits
  • Gbps is spoken as Gigabits, equals 1 billion (1,000,000,000) bits per second and is also abbreviated Gb or Gbits

Internet Speed Test – Conclusion

In Summary, we have put a lot of time into designing the most accurate and easy to use speed test on the internet, and for free! This whole project was inspired because I found too many broadband speed test sites that were either inaccurate, charging money or were just too confusing; users can simply start our speed test and know the results are accurate and instant!

How can I install software or packages without Internet .

Negotiation is a critical life skill whether you like it or not. Still, lots of people hate negotiating.

I wrote this article to show you how to negotiate with Comcast, one of the most hated companies in America, and save a bunch of money on your cable bill.

Here are some success stories:

Bro, you rock!! SAVED 600.00 a year!! Rock on! – Chris

Just called and was very sincere and nice and laughed like it wasn’t a big deal. Got my bill reduced by $10 and got HBO forever. BOOM. – Angelina

Thanks for the pointers! Your article provided me with the idea to get a $600 savings this year! Thats a free car payment on my new Camaro SS! – Larry

Existing HD Preferred XF service lowered from $169.95 to $109.99. Got BLAST fee waived (was $10/mo). That’s $600 savings for one year… accomplished in 10 minutes’ time. Thanks for the tips! – Elle

You, too, can learn to negotiate like a pro.

3 Things To Remember

1. Comcast needs you more than you need Comcast.

Internet service providers (ISPs), like Comcast, spend thousands of dollars, acquiring you as a customer. The last thing an ISP wants is to lose you as a customer for a few hundred dollars.

If you pay $200 per month for cable, phone, and the Internet, you pay your ISP $2,400 per year. When you multiply that number by 30,000,000 subscribers, following the Comcast-Time Warner deal, it is easy to see how Comcast makes so much money.

Imagine that you were Comcast for a second. Would you rather make $1,200 per year to keep a customer or $0 per year to lose a customer, knowing that your competitor is now making $1,200 per year on that very same customer

When you approach the negotiation, remember that Comcast wants your money. If given the choice between some money and no money, greedy companies like Comcast choose some money every time. Use that knowledge to your advantage when you negotiate.

Try this:

Look. I have been a Comcast customer for five years. In that five years, I never missed a single payment. I also know that Comcast spent a lot of money acquiring me as a customer. Now, what can you do for me

2. Being nice goes a long, long way.

Everyone knows that Comcast’s customer service sucks. That is an indisputable fact.

Most customers lose their cool and unleash fury on Comcast’s customer service representatives. However, you should still use your manners and be nice. After all, their job sucks way more than your single phone call.

Imagine how much you would hate talking to angry Comcast customers every day of your life. You sit on the phone all night talking to irate customers, and all that you have to show for it is a lousy paycheck every two weeks that makes you realize how much you hate your life.

When you treat the customer service representative with dignity and respect, they will work a lot harder to help you find a great deal.

So be nice. Niceness goes a long way in negotiation.

Try this:

Good morning/afternoon/evening! How are you today How is your week/weekend going (Actually listen to their reply.) That’s great to hear/I hope it gets better. I would like to talk about my bill and look for some ways to lower the price that I’m paying for cable, phone, and Internet. What are your current promotions

3. Be firm in your commitment to get a better rate.

Being nice and being firm are different things. While you do not want to be a pushover, you can politely stand your ground in the negotiation, stating your demands in a courteous, respectful way.

Tell the customer service representative exactly what you want and be firm about it. If they do not give you what you want, let them know. Again, be nice.

Try this:

While I appreciate the offer, I cannot accept because the price is way too high. [Company #1], [Company #2], and [Company #3] have much better promotions. What can you do for me

Prepare For Your Negotiation

Every negotiation requires preparation. While tedious at times, preparation pays. To get the most out of your negotiation with Comcast, you need to do two things.

1. Pay your bills on time.

In a perfect world, you have a perfect payment history. In other words, you always pay on time. Paying your bills on time, every time puts you at an advantage in a negotiation because prompt, consistent payments prove that you are a valuable customer.

Comcast will check your payment history when you call, especially if you want to lower your rate. Remember that Comcast spends a lot of money chasing people down to get payments for services. If you are not one of those people, then you are saving Comcast money, which means that you can request additional savings on your bill.

If you don’t pay your bills on time, don’t be surprised if Comcast “cannot find any promotions for you.” Comcast always finds promotions for me because I always pay on time, every time.

2. Research current promotions.

Negotiations are won with information, not force. That is why it is important to do some competitive research and find promotions offered by other ISPs.

What should you look for

  • One-time fees: modem, router, contract termination, etc.
  • Recurring fees: monthly promotion price, modem rental, monthly post-promotion price, etc.
  • Plan types: contract, no contract
  • Contract length: 6, 12, or 24 months
  • Customer reviews: Google, Yelp!, etc.

Your Negotiation Plan

A plan of action is the key to any successful negotiation. If you do not come to the table with a plan of action, you are going to lose.

Comcast and other large companies use a series of scripts designed to “idiot-proof” their customer service and get more of your hard-earned money. They have scripts for acquiring new customers, upgrading existing customers, preventing cancellations, and more.

Well, I want to help you fight fire with fire. So here is a list of steps and scripts that you can use to negotiate with Comcast.

1. Call Comcast.

Call Comcast and navigate your way through their automated phone labyrinth to Comcast’s cancellation department. Speaking with any other department is a waste of your time.

The cancellation department has access to the best deals and has the authority to give you the best deals. Calling the cancellation department is also the fastest way to get a real human on the phone.

2. Cancel your service.

Do not mince words. Tell the customer service representative that you want to cancel your service because Comcast is charging you too much money and other companies offer better service at lower prices.

Try this:

Hi. I would like to cancel my service.

When the customer service representative asks why you want to cancel your service, tell them:

I noticed that my bill increased recently and found some great promotions at other companies. Comcast is too expensive. Please, cancel my service.

The customer service representative will read you a script to you about how much Comcast values you as a customer. All I hear is “blah, blah, blah.” At some point in the script, the rep will ask you if they can try to find you a better deal. Play hard-to-get and say something like:

Sure, go ahead. But, you need to find a pretty amazing deal to beat your competitors.

While Comcast is the only game in town for some parts of the United States, most regions have a few competitors. If Comcast does not give you what you want, remember that another company will.

3. Listen to your offers.

Assuming that you did everything right so far, Comcast will offer you a promotion to lower your price and keep you as a customer.

If you truly like the offer, accept it. Who knows Comcast might offer you a great deal from the start, but you may want to push a little more.

Try this:

That is a decent offer, but I’d like a better deal. What else can you offer

You may be able to help your case if you tell the rep your priorities. For example, you may agree to a contract if it means that you can keep your price low for a long time. Or you may agree to a bundled package if it means that you can get a lower starting price.

Get creative and bring multiple issues to the table. The more issues you bring, the more flexibility you have to create the best deal for you.

Try this:

You know, I really don’t care about an amazing promotion price that doubles after six months. I would rather have a reasonable price over a long period of time. What can you do for me

4. Ask for their manager.

Sometimes, the rep will tell you that they cannot give you a better deal. That may or may not be true. To check, ask to speak to their manager. Usually, managers have more authority than reps and can often give you a better deal than an entry-level rep.

Asking for the manager does two things:

  1. it shows the company that you’re serious about your service
  2. it gets you on the phone with someone who can actually give you the best deal

If you want to get a really sick discount, you need to speak to a manager.

Try this:

I appreciate your effort and understand that you cannot give me a better deal. Can I please speak to your manager Maybe they can help us find a better deal.

5. Negotiate a better deal.

Once you have the manager on the phone, explain the situation and the offer that you received from the customer service representative. Tell the manager that, while the customer service representative was helpful, you do not like the offer and give them your reason(s) for rejecting it.

Try this:

Jim was very helpful and gave me some options. But, the price is still too high. As you can see, I have been a customer for a long time and have always paid my bills on time. I like my service but cannot afford to pay such a high price for it. What can you do for me

Now, stop talking and let the manager find a better deal for you. Either they will find a better deal or they will agree to cancel your service. So you will either save money with Comcast or with someone else. No matter what happens, you win.

If the manager finds a better deal for you and you like it, then accept the offer and enjoy your new, low rate. If the manager tells you that they do not have a better offer, thank them for their time and ask them to cancel your service.

Try this:

Wow. That’s really all you can do Well, I appreciate the effort, but I still need to cancel. Can you please cancel my service

Case Study: My Last Negotiation With Comcast

Using this exact process, I called Comcast and lowered my bill from $104 per month to $74 per month, an annual savings of $360! While I originally wanted the Internet only, I actually saved more money by keeping basic cable.

Oftentimes, companies bundle services together to “save you money.” In reality, they get you to switch all of your services to one provider, like Comcast, so that they can slowly increase your service fees to get more of your hard-earned money.

That is why you must look at the big picture and switch service providers every now and then. Yes, it is annoying to switch providers, but switching could save you hundreds of dollars per year and take just a few minutes of your time.

Now, take action or nothing changes.

This article means nothing if you don’t act on it.

So call Comcast right now (1-800-934-6489) and use this guide to save money on your cable, phone, and Internet service. If they don’t give you what you want, visit BroadbandNow.com to compare deals in your area.

Remember that saving $10 per month saves you $120 per year. If you lower your monthly bill by $30/mo, you will save $360 over the course of the next year. You can buy a lot of cool stuff for $360.

While saving a few hundred dollars is fun, switching careers and growing your salary from $40,000 per year to $100,000 per year, in four years, is WAY more fun Total Commander 8.01 - Final
